Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

Renotify ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Renotify platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you join a team, we store your team membership and role.

Contact Data

You may import or create contact records (entities) within Renotify. This data (including names, phone numbers, and custom fields) is stored on your behalf and belongs to you. We do not use your contact data for our own purposes.

Messaging Data

When you send notifications or use the inbox, we store message metadata (template name, delivery status, timestamps) and message content as needed to provide the service. Message content and recipients' addresses are transmitted to the provider that delivers each message.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, and timestamps. This helps us improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Renotify platform
  • Send notifications and messages on your behalf over WhatsApp, SMS, email and the other channels you connect, such as Telegram, Messenger, Instagram and browser notifications
  • Track delivery status and provide analytics
  • Process subscription payments and billing
  • Send you service-related communications (account verification, security alerts)
  • Improve and develop new features

3. Third-Party Services

Renotify relies on the following providers, and integrates with others at your direction:

  • SendSeven (WhatsApp and SMS): delivers the messages you send and receives your customers' replies on the numbers Renotify provides. When you connect a WhatsApp number, you do so through SendSeven's connect page and Meta's signup window, and you grant SendSeven access to that WhatsApp Business Account and its messages so it can send and receive on your behalf. SendSeven processes this data as our supplier, under its own privacy and security terms. Meta processes WhatsApp messages under WhatsApp's business terms.
  • Other messaging providers: Resend delivers email. On the Agency plan, a provider you connect yourself, such as Meta's Cloud API or Twilio, delivers your messages instead. Message content and recipients' phone numbers or email addresses are transmitted to the provider that delivers each message.
  • File storage: Cloudflare R2 stores files: logos, profile photos, spreadsheets you upload for import, and photos, voice notes and documents exchanged in the inbox. Inbox files are kept in private storage and are only shown to members of your workspace.
  • Error monitoring: Sentry receives technical details when something goes wrong, so we can fix it. We configure it not to collect personal data by default.
  • Payments: Stripe processes subscription and top-up payments. We do not store card numbers.
  • Your systems: HubSpot and Shopify when you connect them, and webhook endpoints you configure, which receive delivery, outcome and consent updates.
  • Data Imports: Google Sheets, Mailchimp, and Airtable, when you connect these integrations. We access only the data you authorize.
  • AI Services: When you use AI features (template translation, AI chat agent), prompts and content are sent to the AI provider (e.g., Google Gemini). No contact data is sent to AI providers unless explicitly part of a conversation.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Notification logs are retained to provide analytics and delivery tracking. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), secure password hashing, team-scoped data isolation, and role-based access controls.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Object to or restrict certain processing

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

7. Cookies

Renotify uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
